Birds Names o Mga Ibon in Tagalog and English

I love listening to the birds singing at the backyard every morning when I wake up.  I crept quietly behind the window sill as I watched this flock of pigeons eating sunflower seeds on the ground.  I stood still as I spotted this red headed woodpecker as it cautiously approached the bird feeder to peck at some tiny bird seeds.  A pair of blue jays were quietly perching at a maple tree branch while waiting patiently for the tiny chipmunk to leave the yard.  In today's topic, we are going to learn a few fun facts about birds as well as teach you how to say the names of common birds in both the English language and its Tagalog translation.

Birds Names o Mga Ibon in Tagalog and English

Birds are feathered vertebrates that are omnivorous in nature.  Most big birds like the American bald eagle, penguins that live in the cold Arctic regions, the sea gull, pelican, and the albatross that explore the vast seas and oceans, and the big gray heron, swan, duck, and the stork that are found in rivers and streams all like to feed on different varieties of small and medium fish species.  Small birds prefer to peck on little bird seeds, berries, ripened fruits that grow on trees, as well as insects, and worms.  The hummingbird like to feed on nectar found in flowers.  The crow, raven, and vulture are known to be scavengers and will devour road kills and dead animals that they found on their tracks.  Most birds lay their eggs in nests.  While most birds have the ability to fly, some birds can't fly.
