Isang Tula Tungkol Sa Pag-ibig

Here is a short poem about love or tula tungkol sa pag-ibig o pagmamahal.  This poem talks about what love is all about, how love experiences - whether it be for the good or for the worst transforms us into what we are as individuals, and how our love for one another and for the community as a whole mold our hearts into one essential and vital part of the society that we live in today.

A poem is a kind of literary art that is usually composed with words that have both rhyme and rhythm.  Poems are used to express a certain feeling or emotion, as well as to convey an opinion, interest, or information about certain events, important topics, and interesting fun facts.

This poem about love or tula tungkol sa pag-ibig is all about the beautiful feeling of love, about the difficult challenges that it presents to us, and how we conquer these walls that hinders us from achieving victory over the obstacles of love itself.

What is Love?  In 1 Corinthians 13:13, the Bible says "And now abide Faith, Hope, and Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love."

This love poem is an original literary art piece that I created while we were driving all the way to Ottawa City.  My husband was driving as I sat beside him while admiring the beauty of the countryside with a pen and paper on my lap.

Tula Tungkol Sa Pag-ibig

Ano nga ba ang Pag-ibig?
Ito ang aking tanong at himig.
Tuwing nakikita ka, puso'y pumipintig,
Ikaw and bulong ng damdaming nagpapahiwatig.

Paggising sa umaga, ikaw ang unang naaalala,
Pati sa panaginip, ika'y laging nakikita.
Buong maghapon, ikaw ang pangarap na makasama,
Panalangin sa Maykapal, sana'y lagi kang masaya.

Ngunit minsan, tadhana'y mapanlait,
