Ingredients for making Steamed Puto

Here are the basic ingredients that you will need to make this simple steamed putong puti recipe:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 large whole eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 24 pieces small puto molds
  • steamer covered with kitchen towel

Procedures on How To Make Puto Recipe

Here are the simple procedures on how to make this white puto recipe:
1.  In a large bowl, sift the all-purpose flour.
2.  Then sift the white sugar.
3.  Add the baking powder.
4.  Add the table salt.
5.  Mix the dry ingredients using a whisk.
6.  Whisk the eggs in another bowl.
7.  Then add the evaporated milk.
8.  Mix ingredients well using a whisk.
9.  Then add the vanilla extract.
10.  Mix wet ingredients well until blended.
11.  Combine wet and dry ingredients.
