Join me today as I show you how to make this very quick and easy avocado smoothie that you can drink to boost your energy as you start your daily routine for the day.  This avocado smoothie is also a healthy drink alternative to processed drinks, fruit juices, and pop soda.

Ingredients in Making Avocado Smoothie:

  • 2 large avocados
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • ¼ cup Alaska condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Steps in Making this Easy Avocado Smoothie Recipe:

1.  In a blender, add the avocado chunks, fresh milk, condensed milk, brown sugar, and ice cubes.

Combine avocado and the rest of the ingredients in a blender.

2.  Blend using medium setting and until smooth.
3.  Remove pitcher from blender then pour avocado smoothie mixture into glass.
4.  Insert plastic straw for each glass.

Serve and Enjoy!!!

  3. 2 Glasses
  4. 2 pieces of plastic straws

Benefits of Drinking Avocado Smoothie

As we all know, processed drinks do not contain natural and organic ingredients and they contain preservatives.  Fruit juices in tetra packs have too much sugars acidity that can cause tooth cavities, tooth decay, stomach aches and pains for little ones.  Drinking pop soda and other carbonated drinks makes you feeling fat and bloated with gas.

In the Philippines, avocado is also known as "abokado"in Tagalog.  An unripe avocado is colored green and the fruit is hard to the touch then it gradually changes its color to purple when it is ripened and the yellow green colored flesh gets soft like a velvet. 

Unlike the Mexicans who use avocados in making guacamole as a creamy dip or spicy spread for their tacos, the Filipino people use it in making sweet desserts like ice candy, ice cream, milkshakes, and healthy smoothies.

Drinking avocado smoothie is beneficial to people who are health-conscious as well as to pregnant mothers and lactating women as it is rich in vitamins A, B, C, E, and K.  It also contains folate, potassium, protein, and healthy fat while low in carbohydrates and calories.
